Mount a power strip inside the lower back cavity of the cabinet with screws. Feed the power strip''s cord down through the grommet in the cabinet bottom (right photo above).
Connect the power system''s battery cable terminated in an Anderson connector to the first battery cabinet''s battery cable terminated in a mating Anderson connector.
Set fourth battery in cabinet (being careful of the door fastener tabs hanging down) and attach the other end of the fast-on lugged cable to the negative terminal on the third battery (fast-on terminal).
Set the chargers into place in the cabinet, and thread their cords through the back-panel holes. I used 1-1/4″ washerhead pocket screws to fasten the upper back panels to the cabinet cleats.
Connect the DC+ and DC- cables to the DC+ and DC- terminals. Connect the power cables in the UPS. If more battery cabinets are part of the solution, connect all battery cabinets to the UPS according to
It covers every detail, including the installation of removable casters, heavy-duty bus bars, and other complex steps, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding.
Battery cabinets that are not supplied with an incorporated DC output disconnect device must have an appropriate disconnect device provided external to the cabinet.
The option provides functional access to the equipment circuit breaker via a handle located on the exterior of a cabinet door that is physically connected to the circuit breaker in the cabinet''s interior.
Set first battery in cabinet and attach the long lead (fast-on connector side marked positive) from the cabinet to the fast-on terminal on the positive terminal of the battery.
Terminals for connecting the batteries to the power charger and the fire alarm panel(s) are located behind the panel on the right end of the cabinet (Figure 1).
